A 40 Something MTB fanatic with more passion than skill. Also known as 'North Shore' by syndicate members after falling off an elevated section at Llandegla and rolling down the hillside during the MTBMeetup in 2017.

I have been riding since 2012 when I got my first bike, a Voodoo hardtail. I was invited to join a group of local riders on a trip to Mt. Snowdon, I was unfit, unsteady on the bike and had no idea what either the bike or my own capabilities were. I made it to the top, just, and made it back down in one piece, just, and from that moment I was hooked.

I recently bought a fat bike to add to my collection, under the n + 1 theorem. I can often be found riding the natural trails around the North Hampshire hills as well as the Surrey Hills and the Forest of Dean.
